Install the Documents app on your iPhone or iPad.

After the download finishes, run it. Tap the ‘Services’ button on the bottom and select ‘Wifi File Transfer’. Now, open docstransfer.com on the web browser on your computer and scan the QR code with the Documents App. The app establishes a connection and starts the server within seconds. For security reasons, you would have to keep the app and the tab on the web browser open during the file transfer or the connection might break.

You’ll also need active internet access to establish the connection for the first time, once done, all files will be transferred over Wi-Fi. The app transfers the files fairly quickly. It’s that simple. After the files are transferred, the photos remain within the Documents app. You can manually transfer the files to the Camera Roll. To do this, Go to the folder where all the transferred images are kept, select all the images and tap the ‘Move’ button on the bottom. Now, you can choose the directory ‘Photos’ and tap the button on the bottom to move the files to the Camera Roll.
